Teaching opportunities

Teaching Assistantships

Each year about 45 Teaching Assistantships are offered to graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Music. T.A. positions available for the current session (September to April) are listed here. Please click on each individual posting for eligibility requirements and other information.

Community-Based Experiential Learning (CBEL)

CBEL provides students the opportunity to participate in projects driven by community priorities at non-profit and for-profit organizations, as well as public schools. Programs include short-term reading week placements, ongoing Trek placements, courses which include CBEL components, and custom projects.

Application deadlines vary depending on program.

Student Leadership

The Faculty of Arts offers opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to take on leadership or mentorship roles. These are an opportunity for students to gain the practical experience and build communication and project management skills sought by employers.

Explore leadership and mentorship opportunities through the Faculty of Arts and the Centre for Student Involvement & Careers in Brock Hall. Opportunities are available throughout the year.
