Performance: Keyboard

Within the UBC School of Music, the keyboard division has a long and proven track record of success. Throughout Canada, North America and beyond, UBC professors and students continue to promote and exemplify the highest standards of artistry and excellence.

Piano, harpsichord and organ students at UBC can expect comprehensive musical and personal growth at the undergraduate or graduate level. UBC Music offers enriching experiences in chamber music, large ensembles, contemporary and early music ensembles, piano pedagogy and literature, and more.

UBC Music provides a variety of performance opportunities that inspire and create rewarding musical experiences. Baroque and contemporary ensembles give further performance opportunities outside the standard repertoire, and collaborative learning with singers and instrumentalists is essential to students’ musical lives at UBC.

Our faculty are internationally renowned performing artists with active concert and recording careers committed to their student’s artistic growth. Degree programs include BMus, MMus, DMA and PhD as well as Artist Diploma courses of study, all of which are designed to promote intensely rich learning outcomes.
