Graduate program costs

Tuition fees for graduate students at the School of Music include private lessons and are paid in three installments over the course of the year: September, January and May. You must remain registered throughout the duration of the graduate program, including during the summer term.

 

 

Master’s Degrees

Canadian Citizens & Permanent Residents

International Students

  • All full-time registered international master’s students (as long as they are not a recipient of external scholarships or external funding that pays their tuition) receive the International Tuition Award (ITA) from the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. We hope that these awards will again be available for 2018-2019.
  • current student fees and student society fees.
  • MMus students entering in September 2018: Estimated cost for 12 months: CAD$17,239.00 (tuition) + $1,943.00 (student fees, bus pass, health plan) + $180 iMED (health insurance for first 3 months in Canada) – $3,200 International Tuition Award = Est. TOTAL CAD $16,162.00 
  • MA students entering in September 2018: Estimated cost for 12 months: CAD$8,604.67 (tuition) + $1,943.00 (student fees, bus pass, health plan) + $180 iMED (health insurance for first 3 months in Canada) – $3,200 International Tuition Award =TOTAL CAD $7,527.67
  • The 2019-2020 international student tuition rates are subject to change, and will be confirmed by December 31st of the preceding year.
