Iman Habibi, Winner of the 2022 Azrieli Commission for Jewish Music

Iman Habibi was born in Tehran, immigrated to Canada in 2003, and now lives in Toronto. Following early training in his native Iran, Habibi went on to earn his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of British Columbia, working with Dorothy Chang, Jeffrey Ryan and Stephen Chatman. His music will be featured in a performance in London as part of winning the 2022 Azrieli Commission for Jewish Music!
