This March, UBC Music piano students Hamilton Lau, Lucy Moon and Daniel Tong emerged from the Robert & Ellen Silverman Piano Concerto Competition semi-finals to proceed to the Final Round Gala Performance. These exceptional musicians will perform their full piano concerto with the UBC Chamber Orchestra. Music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Mozart.

Future piano greats in competition
The Robert and Ellen Silverman Piano Concerto Competition at UBC features UBC School of Music’s piano students for an evening of gorgeous and challenging music. The competition was designed to give students opportunities to perform with the UBC Chamber Orchestra in this Gala Final Round performance.
