About

Sarah Reimer completed her B.Mus as a flute major at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and her M.A. in music theory at the University of British Columbia. Under the supervision of Dr. John Roeder, her master’s thesis explored the analysis of musical form in polyphonic vocal music from the sixteenth century.

While a student at UBC, Sarah was a classroom instructor for aural skills courses and teaching assistant for music theory and history courses. Currently she is a sessional lecturer for the foundations in music theory course.
