Jennifer Chu is a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) student from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada focussing on double bass performance. She is a 2026 recipient of the of the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship awarded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. She performs chamber music as well as symphonic orchestral programs with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the UBC Symphony Orchestra. Jennifer is well known amoung her colleagues for her for vivacious energy, openminded nature, and ease in communication.
