The UBC School of Music returns with a new season of beautiful music live online from the stages of the Chan Centre and the Old Auditorium
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, concerts at the School of Music will look a little different this year. We will be streaming all our events via the School of Music website until it’s safe to resume in-person concerts.
Our soloists, chamber groups, large ensembles, and special guests will bring you the gorgeous array of concerts and operas you’ve come to expect — in creative new ways!
We’ve reconfigured our ensembles and venues to safeguard the health of our musicians, and we’re exploring new technology at our disposal to create a more immersive experience for our virtual audiences.
From a new UBC Opera production of The Marriage of Figaro to experimental chamber works, we’re excited to perform for you wherever you are. Whether you want to escape into a world of soaring beauty or you’re looking for a short, refreshing break in your day, we’ve got you covered!
Visit music.ubc.ca/calendar to explore our season program, and bookmark music.ubc.ca/streaming for easy access to upcoming and recent online concerts. If you do not have computer/online access, please call 604–822–5574 for event details. Here are some highlights:
