Dr. Anabel Maler and Dr. Michael Tenzer awarded SSHRC funding
Dr. Maler was awarded an Insight Development Grant for her project, The signing musician: Composer, performer, analyst. Dr. Tenzer was awarded an Insight Grant for his project, Irregular meters of the world: Theory, analysis, performance and composition.
UBC Professor Emerita, Dr. Vera Micznik awarded the Golden Mahler Award
Dr. Vera Micznik served as a Professor of Musicology at the School of Music until her retirement in 2014, and is a leading scholar in the field of Gustav Mahler.
