Join us on Lunar New Year, for a special UBC Concert Winds performance conducted by Meijun Chen, in UBC’s historic Old Auditorium.
We are thrilled to present this vibrant program which includes the Canadian Premiere of “Celebration” by Chinese-American composer Gao Hong. This work, first performed by the U.S. Marine Band, blends traditional Chinese instruments with wind band music.
