Recognized as one of the country’s top student ensembles, the UBC Symphony Orchestra will be performing live at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, under the baton of Jonathan Girard, Director of Orchestras, in a program designed to showcase the full range and dynamism of the modern orchestra.
Maestro Jonathan Girard returns to lead the UBC Symphony Orchestra in its first concert of the season with one of the most popular symphonies of all time: Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor, “From The New World”, Op. 95.
