Graduate program costs

Tuition fees for graduate students at the School of Music include private lessons and are paid in three installments over the course of the year: September, January and May. You must remain registered throughout the duration of the graduate program, including during the summer term.

 

 

Master’s Degrees

Canadian Citizens & Permanent Residents

International Students

  • All full-time registered international master’s students (as long as they are not a recipient of external scholarships or external funding that pays their tuition) receive the International Tuition Award (ITA) from the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. We hope that these awards will again be available for 2017-2018.
  • current student fees and student society fees.
  • Estimated cost for 12 months: $10,427.40 (tuition) + $1,943.07 (student fees, bus pass, health plan) + $180 iMED (health insurance for first 3 months in Canada) – $3,200 International Tuition Award = TOTAL $9,350.47
  • The 2017-18 and 2018-19 international student tuition rates are subject to change, and will be confirmed by December 31st of the preceding year.

Doctoral Degrees

  • All full-time registered international doctoral students (as long as they are not a recipient of external scholarships or external funding that pays their tuition) receive the International Tuition Award (ITA) from the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. We hope that these awards will again be available for 2017-2018.
  • current student fees and student society fees.
  • Estimated cost for 12 months: $8,108.40 (tuition) + $1,943.07 (student fees, bus pass, health plan) + $180 iMED (health insurance for first 3 months in Canada) – $3,200 International Tuition Award = TOTAL $7,031.47
