Music and Sound Studies is an umbrella designation for the kind of research our academic faculty engages in, spanning and integrating the fields of musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, music psychology, digital scholarship, computer-assisted music research, sound studies, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.
Programs
The Master of Arts (MA) and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Music are offered with emphases in music theory, historical musicology, and ethnomusicology.
