Hot Sheet for the week of Mar. 11, 2019

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” ~ Maya Angelou

The UBC School of Music presents Igor Stravinsky's "L'Histoire du soldat" (The Soldier's Tale), performed by conductor Robert Taylor and a septet of faculty and guest musicians. Based on a Russian folk tale, "L’Histoire du soldat" tells the story of Joseph, a soldier who trades his fiddle to the devil in exchange for infinite riches and glory. The concert features a narrator, artwork projections, and wild, gorgeous music such as only Stravinsky could write!
