Chan Centre Presents

From Australia comes a bold new vision of contemporary circus: a place where breathtakingly beautiful acrobatics and fiercely virtuosic music-making meld into a seamless whole in a celebration of the expressive possibilities of the human body at its extremes. 14 acrobats and the esteemed Debussy String Quartet celebrate the music of 20th century Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
Arrive early to hear the newest ChanFare in the lobby! The ChanFare for April 28 is composed by MMus composition student Robert Humber and performed by Azura Quartet (Eric Toombs soprano saxophoneMo Miaoalto saxophoneHaley Heinricks tenor saxophoneMia Gazley baritone saxophone).
