Joshua Redman: Still Dreaming
“A supremely affable and flowing improviser,” (The New York Times) Joshua Redman is one of the finest jazz saxophonists of our time, just as his father Dewey was of his. For Still Dreaming, Joshua Redman is joined by Ron Miles on trumpet, Scott Colley on bass, and Brian Blade on drums. Together, they speak across generations through new compositions inspired by Dewey’s legacy.

  • Arrive early to hear the newest ChanFare in the lobby! The ChanFare for Nov 13 is composed by UBC Music student Jackson Bell and performed by Thunderbird Brass (Matheus Moraes trumpetSilas Friesen trumpetKristin Ranshaw hornKevin Jackson tromboneTakami Hayashi tuba). ChanFares are commissioned by the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts. They are written and performed by students from the UBC School of Music.
