2017 year in review; What's ahead in 2018

Congratulations to  Nancy Hermiston and Stephanie Nakagawa (BMus'09, DMA'17), who were recently awarded Barbara Pentland Awards by the Canadian Music Centre BC. Nancy Hermiston received an Award of Excellence for UBC Opera’s many commissions, performances, and support of Canadian music. Stephanie Nakagawa received an Award of Excellence for her remarkable doctoral project: The Canadian Opera Anthology for Soprano. Read more

Scholarship Auditions   
Royal Over-Seas League UK Scholarship for a BC Emerging Musician

Featuring performances by UBC Music students.
The recipient of the scholarship will go to the UK in summer 2018 to perform in London and in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, attend a UK Summer Music School and receive lessons from prominent UK teachers.
