Call for UBC Music alumni to sing at special memorial service for Peggy Weaver on Nov. 24

To the UBC Music Community:
Peg Weaver worked in the School of Music front office for many years, and was a regular attendee at Wednesday Noon Hour concerts. She greatly enjoyed hearing live music, seeing friends, and making new ones. UBC alumnus Craig Addy is coordinating singers for a special memorial service for Peg Weaver. Please see below for a message from Craig, and for details regarding the service. Please contact Craig directly if you are interested in singing:

Message from Craig Addy:
Hello fellow UBC music graduates. I have been approached by Lorraine Graves with a request to participate in a memorial service to honour the passing of her mother Peggy Weaver. Peggy actually passed a year ago but Lorraine wants to create this special memorial service for her. She has asked that I connect with various students from our UBC Music days to see if we could gather a small choral ensemble to sing Rutter's For the Beauty of the Earth. I think it would be truly lovely to provide this offering for Peggy's family and friends.
