The UBC Early Music Ensemble is a mixed instrumental/vocal ensemble specializing in the performance of music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras.
7:00-7:50pm Baroque Mentorship Orchestra
The Baroque Mentorship Orchestra under the direction of Alexander Weimann will perform a selection of music, including excerpts from Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets and Strings, RV 537.
8:20-9:50pm Early Music Chamber Ensembles
A wonderfully eclectic mix of music including a harpsichord concerto by C.P.E. Bach, excerpts of cantatas by Rameau and J.S. Bach, and a Baroque dance demonstration. Join us for this celebration of great music, hard music, and vibrant musicianship.
