Transfigured Light presented by Arkora Music

Transfigured Light is a project exploring microtonality in new and historical choral works. The first part of the program pairs rarely performed Renaissance works with world premieres by composers Dorothy Chang,  Brendon Randall-Myers, and UBC alumnus Benton Roark,  each composed for choir and chamber ensemble, including hand-built microtonal instruments. The evening culminates with Death Speaks, David Lang's masterful meditation on the transient nature of existence.
