Bio: Clara Shandler (BMus'12) fell in love with the cello when she was three, started lessons five years later, and hasn't stopped since. Her training as a classical musician focused on chamber music throughout her youth and she has used those skills to play in rock bands, fiddle troupes, traditional ensembles from all over the world, jazz jams, and so much more. I completed my Bachelor of Music degree at UBC and is now the VP of the East Vancouver Community Music School. She travels to Cambodia and Nepal with a group called Singing Tree in order to share and teach music with our neighbours to the east.
