Tunes at Noon

John Stetch piano (MMus in Composition student)
Six-time Juno nominee John Stetch pushes the boundaries of classical and jazz. Navigating between styles, Steinway Artist Stetch re-imagines and improvises over some of the great works of Chopin (Heroic Polonaise in A-flat), Bach (Italian Concerto) and Mozart (Sonata in B-Flat Major K.333). He'll also play some classic jazz standards and an original composition or two.
Tunes at Noon features performances in the foyer of the UBC Welcome Centre by UBC School of Music students and alumni. Bring your lunch, listen, and enjoy.
12:00 noon, The Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre
Presented in collaboration with UBC Welcome Centre, UBC School of Music, Alumni UBC and UBC Arts and Culture District.
